Good Luck!

Congrats and Best wishes for a great surgery and recovery... Try to walk as much as you can and sip as often to stay hydrated. Keep us posted :)

Best of luck to you!

I had surgery yesterday and I'm doing great--hardly any pain. The best advice I was given is to get up and start walking as soon as you can after surgery. It helps the anesthesia wear off and the anesthesia can cause nausea if it stays in your system too long. Walking also helps get rid of the gas that they pump in to your abdomen to perform the surgery (which was my greatest source of discomfort, so I walked a lot and don't feel it at all anymore) and helps prevent blood clots.

I have surgery Monday too!! So excited . My surgery is at 2 pm

Good luck to both of you I just got out of the hospital today. I am sore but no real pain. You will do great

You'll do fine. Just walk as soon as you can and as much as you can. It really makes a difference. Have a positive attitude and you're halfway there :) I'm three weeks out and doing great. See you on the other side!
