Hey Presher - Happy Birthday, I love birthdays too and one year we all got snowed in and I was all alone for the day :(

Why don't you have a half birthday celebration in September, your diet will be well settled then.

Well I'm not usually one for getting on the scales every day but I'm needing all the motivation I can get. So this morning I have lost 4 & 1/2 pounds since starting the preop diet yesterday  .

Very happy with that and I don't care if it is mostly water - that's still less weight for my wee feet to be carrying about.

Hope todays ops are going well.

Tomorrow is the big day. Just started my first magnesium citrate. Good luck to my fellow March 14th sleevers.

Mine tends to use 36 and then oversew. But it also depends on the patient. I got 34 with oversew. There really isn't a big difference.

What is this all about?? I have no clue about this... And I thought I was really knowledgable about this surgery. :(

Yesterday was awful. Emotions all over, nerves and stress levels on high. Today is much, much better (just ask my man!). Pre-op tomorrow and surgery on the 25th! I feel pretty crappy right now thanks to a farewell to food (and alcohol) festival this evening.

Passed the psych eval today...I felt confident and "normal," lol, but that's my "I don't know you so I am just going to show you my well-educated side." Lol.

Hope you're all well! Thanks for sharing your stories. The camaraderie of this thread amazes me. I love it.

Good luck to u too!! Thst stuff is nasty.

Hi everyone. So I find my nerves are getting the best of me. I'm not scared but I am starting to have a melt down. What am I doing? Friday is coming so fast. I'm just ready for it to be done and over. Are these feelings normal?
