ONE YEAR anniversary today

Recommended Posts

One year - so many changes in my life - feeling physically better than ever and I am so happy I choose to have the sleeve.

As I read the topics of the newbies it helps me to remember how I felt before and at the beginning of this journey - it helps to re live the times when it was tough. Now this is a way of life for me and I am grateful to all of you for the support and camaradrie I found here.

Best wishes to all in whatever stage you are in; the time goes by fast and the weight keeps coming off - maybe slower but it comes off.

much love

Congrats on your surgiversay. You are doing great. I am only 7 months out, but I can already see that this is one of the best things I ever did.

Congrats to you! I am 11 months out yesterday and about where you are. I agree, this has been one of the best decisions I have made for myself. I feel great....finally! I really never had any hard time, I was lucky on that part. Best of luck to all the newer sleevers, you will too feel the same!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
