I feel bad for you..I was sleeved 12/31 and I can drink and swallow with no problems. I have no pain but I do get tired easily. I think something is wrong with me because I feel no restriction. I wish I could help you. Do you have medicine for nausea? I'm eating cream of wheat, thin cream of chicken soup, sf pudding, plus lots of liquids, sf jello, popcicles and whey protein shots (yuck!). I hope you have good pain meds and get good rest. Best wishes!

Good luck and congrats. You must keep me posted. I'm Feb 26 with Garcia. Where are you flying from? I'm from Louisiana and I will be traveling alone.

Dr Fernando Garcia at the mi-hospital . All I can say is the best team I could ever have found for me. Everyone was wonderful and so friendly. I think once I hit my goal I might book a trip just to visit and thank everyone in person.

I'm nervous about being alone. I've never traveled that far alone. Or that far at all Lol! I'm flying in on the 25 and surgery is the next day. The more I think about it I should do the surgery as soon as I arrive. My nerves probably won't let me sleep the night before anyway :). That's great weight loss. I still can't wrap my mind around losing that much weight so fast. I've often done diets and worked out like crazy only to lose 15-20 lbs and get discouraged. I'm so ready to get this done.

Don't be nervous at all. Everyone is like family. Just be ready for the change and look forward to the new body and be very positive. The hardest thing you have completed and that's the pre diet.

Once you have board the plane your on the home stretch is how I looked at it.

What place are you going to

you're almost done..hang in there!

Just speaking of going to Tj Mexico. I will be at Mi Hosp also

In a few days you'll forget this phase. At this point I was restricted to clears and like you (like almost everyone!) was having trouble getting enough liquids down.

Sip all day long. If cold drinks bother you or take longer to drink, move to room temp or warm beverages. The only unjury product I liked was the chicken Soup, but if you don't have any of that just spice up some chicken broth and sip that, too. Focus on hydration and liquids and worry about Protein later, once you're more healed.

Take it easy, and congrats on your new sleeve,

~Cheri

Your advisors will be Rosie and Melissa

They are both great and very help full. Be very positive and don't be afraid your in excellent hands. Everyone will treat you like a queen during your days there. It's like been at a 5 star hotel being at Mi-Hospital.
