Iron?!?! Help

They might not clear me for the surgery cause of my iron!!! The surgery is the 10th .. My level is at 9.8.. Anyone else with this problem?!

    To build it up eat red meat followed by vit c... take a iron supliment.. good luck. .. liver is high in iron and vit c helps with the absorbtion ...:D

    When you take a supplement with iron or eat something with iron try to avoid any calcium. It will cancel out the iron.

    My surgery was postponed for 3 weeks. I had to get 2 iron transfusions prior to surgery. All is good now. Better to be on the safe side than rush into surgery. Good luck.
