Costco shake prices?
They go on sale a lot so I'm not positive on the price but I was disappointed because the last sale they didn't have the strawberry ones there. They tend to carry primer protein, muscle milk and one other type of drink in RTD.

Share a typical days menu, post-op
Breakfast- Protein shake Snack- 3 mango slices and a light cheese stick Lunch- laughing cow cheese, half a serving of crackers (whole grain) and sliced deli meat Snack- small handful of almonds (about 9) Snack - beef jerky (I was fighting some strong chocolate cravings) Dinner- chicken sausage and a little bit of Pasta This is an average day for me I mix the Snacks and lunches up. Also for dinner I like to make chicken or fish or some type of salad loaded with protein. I also normally snack on popcorn or a protein bar at night. I'm 7 months post op.

Beef Jerky?
I started eating beef jerky by about 2 months post op and still use it as a snack every now and then ( sometimes more often) I buy the small individual size bags and that tends to be a serving at about 100 cals and 18 protein. I also keep low fat string cheese and almonds at work for snacks.

Vitamins making me nauseated
I'm the same ill feel sick after just the multi vitamin everything I'm fine with. I take it at night and if I don't fall right asleep I start feeling it but I have learned if you take it and then eat something small like part of a protein bar you don't get sick.

Snacks and Work Lunch Ideas
Check out eggfaces blog. She tends to do a day in my pouch and a ton of bento boxes. I get ideas from her when I'm looking for something different. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/?m=1

2 free Quest Bars.
I contacted the customer service people this last week and got my two free bars today. They have a request for samples online and that seemed to work but this initial link didn't get the free samples.

Giving blood and IVs – for people that are hard stick- Helpful suggestion
They have the hardest time getting my veins they are deep and move. I tell them this every time they don't seem to believe me till they can't get if the first try. One thing they did for the iv before surgery was apply heat to my hand and if went in fine. Next time other than drinking a ton of water I'm going to try to really warm up my arms to help.

Are we allowed pills?
I take regular size pills for vitamins and things like that. Although I waited till almost 8 weeks to try the bigger pills.

Breakfast Bars
I like the oh yeah victory bars and Quest bars. They have every similar stats either just under or at 200 cals for 20 grams of Protein and high in fiber. With quest you almost have to microwave it to taste good but oh yeahs victory and already a soft texture. You can buy both of these at stores like Vitamin Shoppe, GNC or stores similar to those.
