January 5, 201313 yr One of my questions is, when you cook for ur family do they eat what you eat ??? Is it hard to see other people eating a lot more ??
January 5, 201313 yr Actually I was disgusted at how much they ate and how quickly. I cook what ever they want but make it more healthy. Not a lot of carbs, more focused on fresh and vegtables. Don't want the family following in my footsteps. So bring out the cooking godess in you while you stick to VSG diet plan. Use a smaller plate put on top of a regular dinner plate for yourself.
January 5, 201313 yr My son is 5 years old, I cook for the both of us and when we go out, I order one entree for us. It's a lifestyle really, you will get used to it.
January 5, 201313 yr Author Thanks , cooking is not one of my best assets so im ganna have to lean mor e
January 5, 201313 yr One thing I noticed was how much less I need to feed everyone now. It was a reality check to how much I was really eating. This life to a healthier way has been a journey. We no longer fry or bread meats and veggies. Process foods are alot less. Sodas are out long ago. The trick is to do things gradually. I never make anyone feel like they have to but both my children and my husband have slimmed down not even knowing they were making an effort. They were never big but better eating couple with a busy schedule full of fun activities has made them very healthy!
January 5, 201313 yr Author I guess what im afraid of is not being able to contain myself to not eat as much as i do now!!!! Its just scary , and my family isn't very supportive so im sure they will make it difficult for me
January 5, 201313 yr I thinking I hadn't had enough calories today overeat at supper. It was miersiable, I was begging my body to throw up for relieve! You will not over eat. This was my first time over eating and it will be my last. I am 4weeks out.
January 5, 201313 yr The meal was one lean beef patty, 1/4 cup greens and 1/2 baked potato no toppings. I eat the beef and greens. I took a few bites of potato and knew I should quit but thought I need these calories, I lost dinner.

January 5, 201313 yr Oh wow ' date=' I'm really nervous but i do want to[/quote'] You look very small in your pic. Do you mind if I ask what is your BMI
January 5, 201313 yr Author Alot of people that i have mentioned the surgery tell me that it does not look like i weigh 210 pounds
January 5, 201313 yr Not trying to discourage you but please look at those who had complications. Leaks and cut bowel to name a few. I had a cut bowel it is very rare but that rare complication happened to a real person. Please read Iggy's stories of a leak. Be sure that your willing to risk what may happen. I understand wanting to lose but I also know complications are very real. I am not wanting to discourage you just asking you carefully consider all possibilities.
January 5, 201313 yr I don't regret my surgery one bit! I also weight 407 when I had my surgery in june and now I weight 289. It sometimes dose bother me what ppl I know eat tho. I went on a date last night with a bigger guy who ordered 2 deep fat fried sandwitches and thought I was gunna puke as I was eating my chicken breast( yep just a baked chicken breast) its harder to find friend or even dates who have changed there life styles like we have I do know that but when I see my self half there size in pictures know I know I'm hot and I don't mind not seeing them as often and focusing on my new life choice!
