Hi All,

I'm new to this whole experience and will have surgery on 01/09/2013. Does anyone know what are the best brand of chewable Vitamins and best Protein shakes? I am so worried... my decision was last minute! I'm not extremely obese, but have been overweight most of my life and got sick and tired of dieting and regaining the weight back. My Doctor's name is Dr. Ismael Cabrera (TJ, Mexico), did anyone ever hear of him? He is listed as one of the top doctors in TJ, Mexico for 2012. They also asked me for my thyroid profile before they can approve my surgery! I had to take a blood test and fax them the results.

As far as vitamins go, I use the Celebrate brand that I purchase through my doctors office but they are available online also. As far as your surgeon goes, there is a section on the forum dedicated to Mexico so I'm sure you can find out info there on him. Good luck and congratulations

I too am going to Mexico in Feb for surgery. I am also very nervous about going. I've never been too. Can't offer any info about the doc because I never researched him. Like one poster mentioned, there is a Mexico forum you can place his name in the search engine. I'm sure you can find some info on him there. Well congrats on your life changing step and good luck.
