I'm the 31st also.. check in at 5:30am and surgery at 7:30.. so excited but starting to get nervous a bit... I've had 2 c-sections but never anything extensive like this... add me as a friend if you would and check in after surgery if you can... I'm bringing my iPad along to ask questions and keep me company... GOOD LUCK

So glad you're on the 31st as well! I'll definitely check in with you. I'm getting nervous too but I try to keep focus on the end results. I'm in Texas and on central time. Is your 5:30 the same as mine? :)

How are you feeling post-op? With pain meds I still have pain/soreness but nothing like when I first woke up! Hope your night is going well!

Sorry fo the delay, couldn't get the app to work. I feel like I am doing pretty damn good. Coming ou in recovery I was super sore from the gas. Once they got me hooked up the meds I was good to go. Out of surgery at 9am nd walking to the bathroom b 9:45... Day progressed well.. Once I got to my room, the gas kicked in again - especially when starting m Water and Protein. I have probably made 10 o 12 laps around he unit and just bumped up my h2o and protein to 60cc's. Just took down my dilaudid pump and switched to hydrocondone elixir that tastes like butt. Having some cramping with drinking but think that has to do with my unexpected hiatal hernia repair. Waiting on the dr to confirm my discharge time.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
