  1. I know what you mean about crazy weather!! We just had 19 inches of snow! Glad you're feeling well and congrats in the weight loss!!
  2. So how is everyone feeling? I'm starting to feel normal again! I'm down 38 lbs but at a but of a stall. I finally got moved from a night schedule to a day schedule so I think ill be able to exercise more and hopefully that will help . I'd love to hear how you guys are doing!
  3. I haven't been able to eat eggs. I really love eggs and they are high in protein so it stinks! No matter how I cook them I get really nauseous. I'm hoping its temporary!
  4. I haven't tried that one... I'll have to try it!
  5. I've got a bunch of different drinks. Where do you get pure protein?
  6. That's cool I work in Nicu a lot of people at Nwth have had this surgery! I'm on liquids. I think I can start puréed stuff Monday. I'm definitely not getting enough protein in right now. I'm working on getting enough water in lol I got about 1/2 cup of a protein shake in this am.
  7. Congrats on your weight loss!
  8. I work at Nwth so dr hodges did mine. I'm so looking forward to getting past these first weeks.
  9. September! How is your progress? I've had a really rough start but think I'm finally starting to recover. I had my surgery 12/31. So I'm just a few weeks out. I'm having trouble figuring out how to eat! I can't stomach most of the protein drinks!

  14. I was sleeved on the 31st as well and had the same problem. I actually did have to go back into the hospital yesterday to get IV fluids and steriods. I think my swelling was pretty severe. I wasn't able to sip any fliud without bad cramping. Today I'm feeling much better and taking tiny sips as often as possible. I also pureed some potato soup last night and took tiny sips of it and get a total of 1/2 cup down. I think that helped a lot. I hope this helps! good luck and keep sipping!
  15. John, I highly recommend some pampering the day before surgery to help take your mind off things . Thanks for the book recommendations. I actually just bought Gone Girl from a recommendation of other friends at work ill have to check out that Stephen King book too! Thank you! Best of luck w your upcoming surgery!
