  11. I was sleeved on the 31st as well and had the same problem. I actually did have to go back into the hospital yesterday to get IV fluids and steriods. I think my swelling was pretty severe. I wasn't able to sip any fliud without bad cramping. Today I'm feeling much better and taking tiny sips as often as possible. I also pureed some potato soup last night and took tiny sips of it and get a total of 1/2 cup down. I think that helped a lot. I hope this helps! good luck and keep sipping!
  12. John, I highly recommend some pampering the day before surgery to help take your mind off things . Thanks for the book recommendations. 14. With even tiny sips of water I was having severe cramping and I wasn't getting much down. I started getting lightheaded and called my doctors office. He had me go in for fluids and steroids and upped my Prilosec dosage. My bp was pretty low so I had been a little dehydrated. But the fluid and steroids have really helped and inflammation is down. I can now sip fluids and not cramp glad you ladies are doing well too. I think I need to try some nectar tea. That sounds good!
  15. I had to check back into the hospital for a bit to get iv fluids and steroids. I think I was pretty swollen from surgery and wasn't getting enough in. I'm feeling better now though and should leave soon just a minor bump in recovery how are you doing?

  18. Thank you! I love plain water and tried to drink a protein shake. Sipping tiny amounts at a time. I sure hope the cramping goes away though. I'm guessing its because my sleeve maybe bring swollen a bit from surgery? Thank you for your advice!
