  1. I think it's crazy how we all have different rules our diets. I was on clear liquids while in the hospital and now on full liquids for two weeks.
  2. I'm having the same gurgling/ cramping trying to get liquids down and I think you're right about the hiatal hernia repair! Hopefully it gets better with time!
  3. Mine went really fast! I've heard people's periods starting pretty quick too. Hope you are feeling better! I'm having trouble sipping liquids and haven't gotten any protein in yet. I plan on trying a pre made shake tonight. I'm so excited for us! We made it! Happy New Year to us!!!
  4. We made it through! Pain was pretty intense immediately afterwards but have gotten a handle on it. Now just dull ache. Prayers you guys!!
  5. How are you feeling post-op? With pain meds I still have pain/soreness but nothing like when I first woke up! Hope your night is going well!

  8. I'm packing some pj's so I won't be stuck in a hospital gown if I don't want to be. I'm bringing my pillow ( I work at the hospital and the pillows are flat!) toothpaste/brush and stuff to wash my face as well as some lotion. It's really dry here! And technology! Kindle and laptop

  11. I'm an RN too! I work in the NICU here. I know a lot of people who work at the hospital and have had the sleeve. I've heard nothing but good things! How is everyone feeling? I go in dec 31 (Monday). I'm feeling a bit nervous!

  13. So glad you're on the 31st as well! I'll definitely check in with you. I'm getting nervous too but I try to keep focus on the end results. I'm in Texas and on central time. Is your 5:30 the same as mine?
  14. I'm having surgery Dec31st! We are close Good luck on your surgery!!
  15. Just a few days now! I check in at 8 am Monday morning. I'm scared but excited. I've never had surgery before! So ready to start this journey!!

  19. Thank you guys! I meet w my doctor on the 18th and I'm sure he will go over those details. Did you guys check in the night before or the morning of?
  20. I haven't gotten approval yet but hopefully things fall into place the way they think it will. I have to request time off 2 months in advance so really crossing my fingers!
