Well, I made it. I was sleeved on December 17th. Procedure went well. I did have one minor complication, I could not urinate after surgery for 2 days. I had to be straight cathed. My doctor said this is sometimes a side effect of the anesthesia. I am pleased to say that that has resolved.

I'm on day 2 of full liquids now. I have lost 5 pounds in 5 days. Way to excited about that. So I'm down 11 pounds since my pre-op weight. woot woot.

I highly recommend Dr. Bass and his staff.

9 days out, down 24 pounds, I feel very much the same abouy my doc too. fear to re-do catheder made it so I could pee on day 2 also, lol. Lots of luck to you.
