help..started protein shakes yesterday

So I started protein shakes yesterday and my stomach is not happy. I am able to drink it no problem but it's going right thru me. Im not sure if this is normal or if I should switch to soy milk... If it goes away great... anyone dealt with that before?

Right - probably a milk thing. I've heard of people becoming lactose intolerant after surgery, I don't think it's uncommon.

You might try almond milk. It does not have a lot of protein, but it tastes good.
