Date Set for Jamuary 2nd!

Hi all, I am a newbie here. I started seeing Dr. Stewart December 4th and got my surgery date set last week for the 2nd of January, I am really excited and nervous at the same time! I have my pre-op appointment today at 10 am, and my EGD on the 28th as well as my stress test. Lots of exciting stuff coming up! Good luck to everyone getting sleeved in the coming weeks!

You were very lucky such a short wait. It was 9 months from beginning to end for me but now i am almost 3 weeks out and on my way. Best of luck to you and stay in touch. This is a good site with a lot of useful info.

I am excited for you. I too am new. I have surgery January 20th. I want friends I can follow that are going through this at the same time. I am so excited and relieved but a little anxious too. I started my pre-op diet today. Are you on one?

My Dr. didn't put me on a pre op diet, but I am going to try to cut back and make the transition as easy as possible. Good luck to you on the 20th! Exciting!

I am doing this all self pay, so it has been alot quicker of a journey. In fact, the speed has somewhat surprised me.
