After you left the hospital, did you have to keep you 4-5 inciccions cover all the time or not? If so how do the inciccions look now? I cover mine with band-aids everyday after I shower, those were my dr orders till I have the stitches removed, which will be 10 days post op.

I am not sure with stitches. My surgeon patched me up with surgical glue.

I had surgical glue and steri strips. The steri strips were supposed to stay on until they fell off on their own (about 10 days). I had a reaction to the strips, so mine were taken off after 2 days and not replaced. I didn't cover my incisions again.

I had internal stitches. They had steristrips and another cover. I left the top cover on for 5/6 days, and then just let the steristrips fall off.

They are a thin red line which will fade out
