I'm New and i have just decided to get the sleeve. for most of my surgery journey (since April) i've been thinking about getting the lap-band. i'm seventeen, almost eighteen and wanted to know if there was anyone here who was around the same age.

If so, let me know. i'm probably getting my surgery in February.

I can't set a date until my 18th birthday but we are thinking right after that ( feb 2) I have everything done! I just need insurance approval

My mom got her date today, jan 24th! :3 and today is my two week mark and I'm down 22 lbs.

Sorry i kind of disappeared! I am both excited and nervous for the liquid diet. How have your holidays been?

Kate- i hope your holidays were nothing less than awesome. Miss tallkjng to ya!! So whats new, changed, old, etc? I dont know of I told you bjt they gave me my date. Feb 8th is the day of determination... catcb up with me when time permits!

my holidays were great! how were yours? i miss talking to you too! nothing is really new. i have my last weight check in on jan. 14th. and then i should be getting my date!!! i'm so excited! february 8th is in what 3 or 4 weeks??? that is so exciting!!!!

My holdiays were chill. I just stayed at home with my husband and slept. Work is so mentally taxing and im usually there everyday!. Yes. Three or four weeks to go. I go for my 1 day pre op seminar on the 15th.. can you believe i have 3 appts that day?! Unbelievable. I pray you get the day you want for your surgery and if not hopefully you can go on the 8th of feb with me. Either way, im rooting for you girly!

That is exciting and crazy at the same time! i doubt i'm going to get the date i want now because of my birthday issue, but i might get the 8th! that would be awesome if we had surgery on the same day!

When i went to the doctor he said that we are going to submit to insurance first on february 1st. then i will choose my date! :) it will probably be late February
