Sorry To Ask But........

I am 5 days post op sleeve and have had gas but NO BM AT ALL YET. Kinda getting worried. I'm pretty much only eating (drinking, lol) liquids. I am eating sugar free pudding. Is this normal?

Do not ask questions like this. You are just asking for trouble. Your loss will be different from everyone else. There is no average. You will lose whatever your body loses. You can either vie

Yes, it's very common not to have a BM for several days after surgery. Especially if you are on pain meds; they are known for blocking you up. At this point though, you should take something to make yourself have a BM, you don't want to go too long without one.

Would u happen to know an estimate of about how much u lose in the 1st month after surgery?

It really depends on age and how much you have to lose.

I lost like 32.2 a month and three days out

I'm 1 week post op, and had your same concerns. I decided to take a softener ( miraLAX) before bed, 4 days post. This helped...I'm still taking each evening..

I used Smooth Move tea during that stage. The advantages are that it counts as a fluid, it is warm so it goes down well, and it works overnight.

I'm one week post op and I've lost 11lbs so far. I don't know if this is typical or not but it makes me happy. :-) but I believe everyone is different! Good luck to u!

Do not ask questions like this. You are just asking for trouble. Your loss will be different from everyone else. There is no average. You will lose whatever your body loses. You can either view that as success or failure, but it won't change your weight loss. Follow your docs plan and you will do fine.

There are questions like this ALL over the forum. Some people just don't understand that we can't compare ourselves to others. That is so damaging to our self esteem.
