My surgery is not until 1/14. My nutrition class is not until 1/3, but would love a buddy to start having someone to relate with all this anxiety! I am excited and anxious and could use experience from a fellow patient!

I've had a wonderful experience with Curry's office! The staff is awesome and VERY understanding and patiegont and understanding. Even the poor front desk ladies. I know I have asked so many questions over and over again! lol. I am having surgery on April 8th.

I'm 12 weeks out....everything is going well. Down almost 60 lbs.

Super excited! I have my consultation with Dr. Curry scheduled for April 17th.

Hello everyone. I'm doing good. I'm a slow loser but I'm losing. Finally feeling like myself again. Surgery was jan 14 2013. I have lost 36 lbs. I had a hard time getting in the 60 grams of protein and all of the fluid but I'm doing better.

Yes tomorrow at 11:15. I'm getting excited. But I'm more nervous about the fact that Curry wanted me to be as close to a BMI of 60 and I'm at 61. Now I'm scared they won't do surgery. Or maybe I worry too much.

What was the original goal he gave you? If you are close to that I think you will be fine. how much have you lost pre-op?

I was told to get my BMI down to around 60 I am at 61. I am a worrier. I have lost around 65 pounds.

Katie, you have come such a long way I can not imagine that they would not do your surgery. good luck tomorrow we will be thinking of you!
