So, here I am pre-op trying to stick to a mostly high protein diet of approx 1200 calories a day. I'm just starting so I'm still 3 months out. Yesterday at work someone brought chocolate frosted custard filled donuts and the some others ordered pizza at lunch. Kill me now. I didn't eat any but I sure wanted to. No donuts today thankfully and the caf has grilled chicken on the lunch menu. On a positive note, one of my co-workers is having surgery about the same time, also the sleeve. She is my rock and I am hers right now.

Im on my 14 day preop diet and am on day 7 right? We were watching Survivor last night and they were bidding on foods like fried chicken, pancakes, yummy sandwiches and here I am starving lol. My mouth was literally watering. I would have mugged someone for a sandwich last night but I stayed strong and had a protein shake. Oh and this morning at work someone toasted up some delicious smelling cinnamon raisin toast. They almost got mugged. Just sayin'.

Stay strong...I think temptation is almost worse than the hunger! You can do this, it's well worth it (speaking from someone whose been in your shoes & is now on the other side of the fence.)
