Ugh...sliming!

So I'm 12 days post op and last night ate some blackbean soup at around 8pm. I went to bed around 11 and took all of my pills and vitamins. I woke up at 3am nauseous and sliming. I threw up once, just saliva and then was up and really uncomfortable until 6am.

Today I've not had enough water or protein but I still have a stuck feeling I my throat. Do you think it was the soup, which I felt it had gone down ok, or the pills I took? Whatever it was I'm now scared to eat anything!

I am 17 days post op and I've had that happen twice, once where I threw up, another I just kept spitting but neither lasted more than and hour and I had immediate relief when I threw up. It was also bean soup (not sure if that is a coincidence). I'd call the doctor, that sounds like a long time for that awful feeling!
