May Get To Go Home Today.

Recommended Posts

Well, this has been a rough experience for me. I had my sleeve on the 13th of this month. Have had severe nausea and vomiting. So, if I can get in 100cc/hour, I get to go home! No pain at thei point just not enjoying the nausea.

Hey , Butterfly

I am sorry to hear that your having a rough time , I also had my surgery this past 13 of November . I was able to leave on the 15th. I guess everybody responds differently. The thing that was so helpful to me was all the comments and stories that i had heard through this site. I kept remembering that your mouth becomes larger than your stomach , so when I took my first sip of Water , I was very careful and took very small sips .

On the 14 th , I tried to take in the Soup and Jello , and then I felt that little pain right under my breast , so I stoped and as soon as it passed , I tried to take more in.

I was relased on the 15th , and I got home , all I wanted to do is sleep. I felt so moody and sick and tierd of eating the same thing ,,, that stupid broth and Jello ... so I didnt eat much except for the jello and some Water. I also had a sleepless night , kept waking up every 2 hours , my belly was so sore and my back was killing me.

This Morning , I felt better took a shower , went out to the grocery store , cooked dinner for my family . I was able to take in my water much easier .. I didnt feel that pain under my chest , but i am still careful because I dont want to throw up .

I really hope that you feel better and if you need any support , drop me a message.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
