Did any of you decide to have your doctor go ahead and remove your gallbladder when you had your sleeve surgery? I really don't want to have a gallbladder attack in the future but I also don't want to have to take meds to prevent an attack every day either.

I asked to have mine taken out. The internist reminded me that removing a healthy organ is malpractice.

I can't ask for mine to be removed during surgery bc it is already gone... However Gall Bladder attacks are the worst! I felt like I was having a heart attack! If your Dr is offering you meds to prevent an attack then take them!!
