Eating+Drinking=Bad News Bears

It is So hard for me to get used to not being able to drink while I'm eating. It's such a natural habit to want to have a drink while eating. Last night I ate a piece of tilapia and get the ever so familiar feeling of it being stuck in my throat. I've had a sip of water might help to push it down boy was I WRONG! I spent the next 20 minutes in the bathroom thinking it was all going to come back up. Ughhhh Why do you hate me Mr. sleeve.. 4weeks out down 25lbs.

I have never been able to eat and drink together. It hurts so bad even after a half hour if I have eaten chicken or dense meat.

Yeah, beyond the liquefying of your food and making it move through your tummy too quickly for lots of us it's just uncomfortable. It downright hurts if I take more than a very small sip of anything while I'm eating. It causes the worst air bubble ever.

If it's any consolation, it does get easier as time goes on. I missed being able to drink while eating something fierce at first and now it's much better.

Hang in there!
