Rumbling Belly!

I'm 5 weeks post op & whenever I eat from start to finish, my stomach begins rumbling & there's a lot of burping. I'm already taking a prescribed PPI. Do I need another one?? Btw, I eat slow & take little bites...any help would be greatly appreciated!

I experienced this when I first introduced food. It's slowly getting better. Does it hurt or cause discomfort? Or just loud and embarrassing ? If its not causing pain I would think it will probably pass and is your tummy just adjusting. I am on a PPI as well. And sometimes I wonder if it just makes it churn more lol

It doesn't hurt & it only happens when I eat or drink. I thought by now it would start to ease up, but its not. Also think that the PPI might be making it worse or I need another one...

i've burped so loud that i think some of you might have heard me from wherever you live

embarrassing if you are at the office or out and about, but oh well...........

if this is whe worst we have to live with to become healthy - i'll burp anytime

10 months PO - i still have the occasional "burps" -reminding me that my tummy is full, but definitely they are less frequent.

continued good luck

Thanks proudgranny...the little burps I can deal with, it's the constant churning a & rumblings from first bite to last...

I'm 7 weeks, and I've noticed an improvement in the last week or so. I do find it's worse in the morning...probably cuz I haven't eaten all night. Hang in there...it will hopefully pass soon...and if its continuing to bother you make an appt with a dr. Maybe a new PPI will help.

I had this problem for the first 2 months, when sitting with a client, my stomach would rumble loud and we would all start laughing. It does go away thank goodness.....Keep up the good job. :)
