As anyone tried the Slim fast protein drink creamy chocolate? 15 grams of protein and only 190 calories. I'm interested but want to see how it taste. I can't drink too many protein drinks. Most taste like crap. :) anyone?

I found some at Sams club that has 30grams of Protein & taste great! They are called Premier. Also I like the Atkins shakes...little higher in calories but good protein.

Are you referring to the regular shakes or the low-carb version? I think the regular ones have too many carbs and sugar to be considered on the diet.

I found that my local Big Lots had a supply of the low carb vanilla and chocolate shakes (3 carbs, 2 sugar and 20 grams protien) so I practically bought all they had on the shelves... LOL.

My NUT had a "cheat sheet" for me to follow that seems to work for both Protein powders and shakes, but also for other foods as well:

Nutrition Guidelines:

Carbs (single digits)

Protien (double digits)

Sugar (less than 5)

i would suggest getting the low carb one it tastes good and its on my liquid diet. strabwerry or van i hate chocolate

I use the low carb ones in chocolate. They are good.

At my local walmart, they had the chocolate low carb slimfast shakes for $3, I bought all they had during my pre op diet. When I went back to get more, they were back to reg price. They are the best ones that I have tasted so far. I believe the low carb has 20g protien in each shake.

Try Chike and Syntax Nectar. You can't taste the whey in the Chike but you can in the nectar, but it's tolerable.
