  4. Hello fellow sleevers...hope everyone is doing good! I have a couple of questions to ask anyone. First....I am 6 almost 7 weeks post op & was wondering if it or has anyone eaten salad yet & how was it tolerated?? I am craving a salad(who would have thought) LOL. My book says by week 6 you can have lettuce but with v&o dressing (actually 5 sprays?) LOL!! Also, The first month I did really good on losing, 43lbs to be exact, but when I weighed myself the other day...according to the scale I had gained like 4lbs...Not sure how that can happen since I cant eat a lot yet, Is this normal or has anyone experienced this?? I got really discouraged, I wish I had never stepped on that scale..LOL! Thanks for your input

  24. I dont have a gallbladder! Had mine out 12 yrs ago! I dont think it would hurt in the lower part of your side..but I guess anything is possible
  25. Funny you asked that question...I have had the same kind of pain. I thought the same thing, maybe I slept wrong...But I got a little worried last night. I keep thinking im going to develop a leak or something & have to have surgery again. Mine is more on my side than in my back...Im hoping its the incision line healing & maybe pulling a little!! I am 4weeks out today. If anybody has experienced this please post!! Thanks
  26. OMG!! Thats some crazy weight loss...Congrats!! Hope I can do that in 9 weeks! I am almost 4 weeks out & have lost 38lbs. What do you eat? Whats your Key to success..I know that everyone is different. Keep up the good work. I would encourage anyone who is not 100% about the surgery...to have it done. Best thing Ive ever done for myself! I already feel better & I still have a long way to go, but I take it one day at a time
  27. It will be 4 weeks since I had my sleeve (sep 21) & so far its been great. I am down 37 pounds & feel great. Not hungry & no pain to speak of. I have a couple of questions ...... I am still having trouble getting down my protein shakes...I get to full..I am eating soft foods still like baked fish, mashed potatoes, soup, greek yougurt stuff like that. I am supposed to keep track of how much protein I am getting. Any suggestions on how to "track" protein when you dont eat all of what your supposed to?? Also, Has anyone ever drank the lipton diet green tea? I was wondering if that was ok to drink since its not carbonated. One other thing..I cannot chew the multi vitamin any longer...It makes me sick!! Its so chalky. Any suggestions on what other kind of multi vitamin thats good? How much longer do I have to chew the vitamin...can I just swallow them? I know its a lot of questions..but was curious. Thanks for you input
  28. AWWW, so sorry to hear this!! I had anxiety along with all kinds of emotions...but I went through with it & it was so much easier than I anticipated!! There are few horror stories compared to all the good one....Try to reschedule your appt & go through with it!! You wont regret it!!
  29. Funny you asked this....I had not had a period since June...then when I had surgery, 2 days later started my period & it lasted for 7 days!! I thought that was weird!!

  31. I felt those same emotions just 2 weeks ago!! I woke up from surgery feeling fine...aside from being sore, I had little pain & no gas!! I was walking 2 hrs after surgery. Went home the next day! I went to my post op 1 week later & had lost 17 lbs ! Try not to worry, you will be fine. I am back to work & feeling great. I pray for a speedy recovery for you & keep us all updated on your progress!! Good Luck!
  32. Good Luck too you & speedy recovery. I am 1 week post op as of today & I had no pain what so ever! Hope you have the same !! keep us posted on how it went!
  33. the nawing pain feels like hunger pains. I think I need to get more protein in. Ive been drinking 2-3 oz every hour or so...cant drink a whole lot at one time. I get really full, & its hard to "sip" it LOL.
