Me too! My doctors office however is dancing around a week after they originally said it would be sent in! They told me to call this afternoon to check back....so frustrated! I'll be praying for you. Keep me updated on your approval!

Im doing the wait game as well im done everything. Now i have to wait. Its so hard to have to wait for 2weeks.

Im doing the wait game as well I've done everything. Now i have to wait. Ugh... Its so hard to have to wait for 2weeks. But i have no choice.

For those of u waiting get a date from doc office when paperwork was submitted after a few days nicely call insurance co to give u status. I hve bcbs my case was approved within days and approval hb faxed. Doc office said they never got it long story short got my date. What I am trying to tell u is to b nice and proactive. The insurance co will status they also tell u if your paperwork hb submitted. Good luck.

Also waiting..... It's took a month for my surgeons office to get all their paperwork together!!! But they said they finally submitted it Monday, I checked with Aetna via email and they did receive it. :) I'm going to put a call in tomorrow to aetna and check on the status. They say they have up to 2 Wks to respond but most people said they had an answer within 3 days! Then it's back to waiting on the surgeons office.

I waited 2 weeks for approval after I jumped through all my hoops. It was the worst part of the whole process. Uggghh Good luck.

Thanks everyone......its crazy when I think about the fact that all the necessary medical professionals are supportive of me getting this but it all comes down to the ins company! Crazy.....ins company shouldn't dictate medicine

I agree! I met the requirements set by the insurance, but not the ones set by my husbands company. Sucks! Waiting to start the appeal process now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

Yah!!! I got approved today and now just awaiting my surgical date!!! I never thought I would be so excited about being a big loser lol

I know how you feel. Paperwork was submitted on Sept 25th with an October 22nd surgery date. Got word on the 15th my physc eval was out of date so I went the next day and faxed it right away. They didn't have it approved by the 19th so I had to reschedule the surgery to November 5th. I finally got the approval so I'm ready to go!

So upset I was seeing a doctor for two years for weightloss and now but not consecutive, and now insurance is giving me a hard time
