Hi everyone! I'm one week out post op and I have started mush foods (scrambled egg, cottage cheeses) but I'm super thirsty!!! Has this happened to anyone?

I am always thirsty and nothing tastes good or goes down well because I seem to be incapable of taking sips of anything. My drinking restrictions are causing me waaaaaay more problems than food.

I had the same problem , and still do sometimes. I found that sugar free Popsicles really help.

Yes! But it still hurts to drink Water. Its like the air gets trapped. I am 3 weeks out.

Have you tried flavored water? Or gatorade? Those work best for me to get my fluids
