Restaurant Discounts

i just heard on the radio that certain restaurants are offering discounts for people who have had bariatirc surgery. has anyone heard of this and / or taken advantage of it? i think i'd be too embarassed to get a notie from my doctor to pay less for my food. besides, i like the two or three meal leftovers :)

I have a card that says I've had bariatric surgery. I seldom use it..as a matter of fact, I think I've used it once at a buffet with friends. The manager let me pay for my food by the pound, which was really cheap, LOL.

My Doctor gives his patients a card to carry around. It just says we are bariatric patients. incase we want to order from the kids menu or order smaller portions.

I bet if you didn't have a card and asked anyway they wouldn't refuse you...Or you could just offer to show them your scars...LOL, I bet they would not take you up on the offer and just agree hehe!!

I was lucky at one Indian buffet that the owner let me eat a free 3 oz of my wife's plate. They probably did this because we were such loyal customers before the sleeve. chicken tikka, mmmmmm
