Sleeved Oct 2- Heeeelp

I was sleeved on Oct 2 and four days later i was feeling great, i started walking around more but mainly laying in the couch all day. I was in no pain, no gas, no heartburn. On the sixth day as i was getting off bed i got a pain full sharp pain in my belly. It felt like i pulled something. Or like i was tearing something. I called the nurse and she said to rest. The truth is that it only hurts realy bad if i get up of move a certain way, but it hurts really bad. If im sitting still i forget im in pain or even had surgery. Has this happened to anyone. I would really appreciate you input.

Yep. That friggin muscle hurt SOOOOO BADDDD!!!! My surgeon says it is from a stitch thta gets pulled and is very common. It was the worst part of the whole thing. At 5 weeks it just went away suddenly. I woke up one day and it was gone.

Thank you it does feel like im pulling something. I thought it was like a tissue tear

I was sleeved the same day as you but I haven't experienced the pain that you speak of. I'm praying that you will feel better soon.

  • 3 weeks later...

I am alitte over 3 weeks out and have sharp pains also. After sharp pain I have like a dull pain the rest of the day. Is it muscle where port was or is it new stomach? I got same response to rest all weekend.
