Can you work with them to find another mask? there are many types, and some just go under your nose, rather than over your face. I have a friend who is clostrophobic, and really struggled with is full face mask in the beginning. took him about 6 months to adjust. Good luck! If you have apnea, and can get past the mask, you will feel so much better, I promise.

I certainly can jus as long as its not smothering me like that I'm willing to try other ways I think I have some phobia issues myself thks for ur feedback

Please look into just the headgear with the nasal pillows. It's not a mask at all it just goes into your nose. You will have to adjust to sleeping with your mouth closed( it took a whole 2 days) and it works great. I have been using it now for a few years and its the best decision health wise I have made so far!! My sleeve date is 12-04-12!!
