  1. Please look into just the headgear with the nasal pillows. It's not a mask at all it just goes into your nose. You will have to adjust to sleeping with your mouth closed( it took a whole 2 days) and it works great. I have been using it now for a few years and its the best decision health wise I have made so far!! My sleeve date is 12-04-12!!
  2. All good here!! Going to see gastro tomorrow, to schedule my endoscopy!! The ball is rolling!!
  3. For Sandsmom3, I just went for my first appointment in the middle of August, so I think my plan had a three month process, which would have put me middle or end of November. Due to a schedule conflict with the same doc you are using I had to wait one extra week until 12-4.
  4. Awesome to hear from everybody. Hearing so much positive stuff really gets me excited for this!!!
  5. I am scheduled for 12-4 and am in NJ also. I fo get nervous about it sometimes but I have had surgery before and always tolerated it well. I just no that the comorbidities are stacking up, and I want to lose the weight and improve my life. It is nerve racking at times, but I know I can do it and I can still remember the way skinnier me and all that I did and I want it back!!!
  6. Ocean County here also. Scheduled for December, at Monmouth Medical Center!!
  7. Thanks. I am excited and nervous at same time. I am hoping more people in area will comment do I can hear some more stories!!
  8. Hi, I'm Hank and I have my sleeve scheduled for 12-04-12 with Dr. Binenbaum from Monmouth Medical Center. I am excited to start this journey and am looking to hear from anyone who has been sleeved at Monmouth, waiting to be sleeved in the area, and how you have done. Good luck to all, and can't wait to hear from you.
  9. Awesome, seeing positive results like this really gets me psyched to start to get my life back! Surgery scheduled here for Decrmber 4th!
  10. Just getting started here and am excited about all the positive comments. I have a tentative date for 11-27. Starting to work on eating changes now and more exercise to get some off pre-op. Was wondering if anyone had their surgery done at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch? Thanks. Hank
