Starting To Get Really Anxious!

Today (10/1) I go to the hospital for my final weigh in b4 surgery and then tomorrow I get my clearance from my PMD! But the best part is I get sleeved next teusday!!! I'm really starting to get nervous and anxious and nauseated! :/ but I'm super excited at the same time!!! I made a list of how long it took me to get this surgery and another list for why I'm doing this that way I can remind myself this is the best decision I made and for after surgery when I'm in pain lol :)

It's the best decision I've made, wish I would have done it years ago. Best of luck to you.

Good luck! I know how you feel as I'm having the same feelings. My VSG is scheduled for 10/15. Making a list is a great idea :-)

Yea I wrote the dates for everything I went to, like December I put application in the all my appts at the hospital, when I met the surgeon and it was a longggg list I can't believe It took me 10 months to get sleeved and underneath I wrote all the reasons why I'm gettin it done! It felt good even writing it down! :) 10/9 is gonna be the best day of my life besides my wedding anniversary ;)

Similar situation here... Today I go to my last appointment. Tuesday is my scheduled date but I have a Cardiologist today and last week I received a denial from my insurance because the surgeon's office forgot to send proof of my nutrition/support/exercise classes for the last 4 months. I find it hard to believe that the insurance will get back to my surgeon in less than a week to give him the go ahead but I guess stranger things have happened. Up until this incident, everything was going smoothe. I feel the same way you are, anxious, nervous, excited, nauseous... Wish I had a looking glass to see the outcome. I have been journaling throughout this experience so that I have something to look back on... Those days I feel like cheatn, not exercising, or plateau, I will pull out my journal and see how hard this journey has been... Oh hell no, I don't want to be back at this weight ever again... Good luck and God bless!
