Question For The Women

So I am 4 1/2 weeks post op and just got my 3rd period. I am on implanon and didn't get one for 5 years prior to getting sleeved. Has anyone else had this experience? If so how long does it last? Should I expect one ever month now or will

It eventually go away? Each one my cramps get worse and I'm afraid they will get as bad as they use to be! Since we can't take ibuprofen I don't know what to do! I use to take 800mg every 4-6 hrs when they got bad and that barely took care of them!

I was told that anytime you have surgery, it puts stress on your body and can change your period. I don't have any experience with your personal situation, but I figure the same would ring true for you.

I take depoprovera because I don't like having a period. I had some spot bleeding right before and after surgery, but it stopped and hasn't returned for six weeks. I'm hoping that since I'm losing slowly I won't have a hormone surge to make that awful curse return. ha!

If it continues, perhaps you can look into switching to depo. Good luck!
