So I have has a lot of pain since the drain was removed on monday(2 days ago) and now have puss coming out of the wound. Yes I have an infection. They drew blood to check my white blood count and sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics and said when the blood work comes back and shows a really high count they will need to do a scan and hospitalize me. Oh fun fun fun for me!

im glad you went back to the doctor. when i had a skin infection i was put on Amoxicillin for about 14 days. Its pretty strong and knocked the infection out. good luck
