Uk Post Op Diet

hi, now I am on the pre op diet and count down to surgery I have begun to think about post op diet that I will be following and realised that I don't actually know what it will be.

Do other UK people know what your post op diet will be? :-)

Post-op the diet is pretty much like people from the USA post. I had fluids for 2 weeks, soft/ mushy food for 2 weeks the solids were introduced. I used protein drinks ,yoghurt drinks and sieved canned soup for the fluid stage, puréed food and Greek yoghurt for the mush stage and reintroduced solids one thing at a time.

You should get a diet program from the hospital.

I was 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks purée and then 2 weeks soft food. Lots of mashed potato!!
