Well, my gastric sleeve is scheduled for October 11th. I am nervous, excited, and a little scared. This is life changing and I hope do not fail.

Has anyone experience hair loss? If so, how bad and did the hair stop? I have reading a couple forums and see where people are discussing hair loss. Hair is very thin already.

Well, my pre-op visit with my doctor is Friday at 3:15pm and my surgery is next Thursday, Oct 11. My husband will be going with me to the pre-op visit and I am happy about that because it shows me that he is supporting me, and I know he has a lot questions regarding my recovery, diet routine, etc.

My nerves and fear has turned to excitement. I am just ready for a healthier life and looking forward to, hopefully, not having to take my hypertension medicine again and the constant threat of diabetes. And once in 8 years having a normal blood reading that is not 168/112 - no more freaking the hell out of my poor doctor.

It's normal to feel the way you are tight now. I cancelled my first scheduled surgery because of it. After I went though the surgery it was well worth it.
