Pre Surgery Liquid Diet And Diarrhea?

I have always had mild problems with hemorrhoids. I have been on liquids since Friday surgery is 9/25 Tuesday. I am having diarrhea (which I can deal with) but hemorrhiods are killing me. Any suggestions?

    Omg I'm glad I'm not the only one! I get belly cramps as soon as I finish my shake then it just goes right thru me! Not fun at all. My husband said it does the opposite for him. Weird. I feel your pain!

    A lot of protein shakes are sweetened with sucralose. Enough of that has a laxative effect. Gass bubbles, cramps and... Never trust a fart!

    Glad to know it's not just me. I've had the bubble guts since I started liquid diet last Wed. I knew it had to be the protein shakes but had no idea why. It all makes sense now.
