I am a tummy and side sleeper. About how long after surgery (I'm two days post) until I can return to my normal habits?

    Just a few days, if you're comfortable, else stick tot he side and back.

    Nurse in recovery put me on my side with a pillow wedged under my stomach just an hour after surgery. It was more comfortable and less painful that way for me. I could stay like that pretty much all day but had to have the pillow. I was able to lose the pillow after about week 2.

    But only do what is comfortable... If it hurts don't do it!
