I have a 12 week class that is required through kaiser and during it I have to loose 30 pounds. So my pre op dieting started already. But week before I buckled down I went and had a breakfast and dinner at two places I knew after I would not be able to enjoy the same... So I see nothing wrong with saying good bye to food in a way...

I went to Olive Garden during every phase. During preop, I ate some vegetable soup. During liquids, I drank the broth from the healthy soups. During solids, I just look for something with high quality protein in it. No need to stay away from the restaraunts you love. You just have to make healthy choices. Good luck!
