Hi Everybody!
I've been thinking hard about this.......maybe too hard my brain hurts!
I originally had an appointment with Dr. Craig Taylor at the OClinic North Sydney and booked myself in for the band on October 15th 2012 (not quite sure why, I went in wanting the sleeve). After trawling the internet and forums about the band I completely flipped out and cancelled the surgery (I know Im a chicken)
I've been reading a little more about the sleeve and would much prefer it, but at the same time is scares the hell out of me! If I'm going to go ahead it won't be until April next year, not because of any waiting lists or lack of funds, but I just need to give myself time to come to terms with what I'm going to be doing and I don't have much option for leave at the moment.
I'd like to ask a couple of questions, I've read all the answers in other threads, but I NEED to ask these questions myself if that makes any sense? Here we go:
1. Was the pain really bad, I mean moaning groaning on the verge of tears pain?
2. Was there nausea, how long? (This scares me the most I HATE nausea!!!)
3. How long till you were back at work? Do you really need only 2 weeks?
4. Did you all have feeling of anxiety to the point you though about backing out?
5. At what point do you start feeling normal again (food & Energy wise)
6. Did anyone go to Dr. Craig Taylor?
I will thank everyone in advance and I will be planning to stick around until surgery if/when I decide to have it.
I'm so glad I have found some aussies!!!!
