I am almost four months out and corn is still on my No list. But when I eat mixed veggies, I do eat the corn.

most corn is genetically modified these days.. wouldn't hurt to get it out of your diet just because of that alone.. there's been no studies to show the effects of GMO'd foods on the human body, but what GMO foods have done in animal testing is really horrible.. causing cancers and all sorts of other really scary and horrific problems.. even organic or home grown corn could be contaminated with GMO corn, because corn has to be planted a certain amount of feet away from another kind of corn plant.. or they can get cross contaminated.. corn pollinates through the wind... so.. it's super easy to have corn that's contaminated... in my house, we try to avoid anything with corn in it.. also, corn carries fungus which if you follow doug kauffman, is really not a good thing to be eating anyway.. http://knowthecause.com/ << there's his website if you are compelled to check it out.

in any case, whatever you do, i wish you the best & hope things turn out favorably for you. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
