Post Op Pain?

How was everyone's post op pain? I had an endoscopy today and am sad that my throat feels so raw and mucousy...

I work 3 days after surgery so I'm hoping recovery goes well!

I work from home doing customer support so I sit at my desk and do a little typing and talking but still get to relax so that's a bonus...the doc says I should be fine

That's awesome you get to work from home, I think i would've been alright to do that. I had gas pains the night of and next day after surgery. The heating pad helped more than anything. Slept with it on low heat...After the 2nd day i was good to go.

I came home two days after surgery and really wasn't feeling up to doing much on day 3 honestly. Hopefully you can work at your own pace at home? I have never been a napper but i was taking daily naps the first 5-6 days.

Best of luck to you!

I had surgery on Monday 8/27. Came home 8/28, slept 8/29 away and went to work on 8/30. I work from home as well. I am a nurse and I work for a major insurance company i manage a division in one of their government benefits programs. It is 90% computer work. I tired easily for the first couple days but it was completely doable. You'll be feeling better in no time.
