I just realized that my plan says i can have pureed/soft foods.

From what they told me soft foods are most things we eat, (no Steak), but hamburger, chicken.... if you go to my gallery. I scanned what my Dr. put as soft foods and tips and tricks.

Soft foods on my plan included things like chicken salad (pulsed in the food processor), egg salad, tuna salad. I could have well-cooked squash, cauliflower, etc.

I am on that phase now.

refried beans, eggs (scrambled or blended into egg salad), tuna salad, puddings, yogurts, grits, oatmeal, cream of wheat, tofu,.

I have not tried all of them, I take it pretty slow with food for now. My tummy does not care for egg whites on boiled eggs, so I have tried them poached or scrambled. I thin down the refried beans from the can with water and stir them well to make sure they are pretty smooth. I get the packets of instant grits and really like those. I have not tried any blended meats yet. I have not tried blended soups either, but those are on my list.

Hopefully you will find something you enjoy :)

You can also have LF Ricotta cheese . I tried "Shelly's Baked Ricotta" from The World According to Eggface. It's slightly famous on some of the WLS blogs, and didn't disappoint! You can also find a recipe to add pumpkin puree to it and spices for a dessert. I love pumpkin :)

Boxed mashed potatoes

Hummus

Cottage cheese

I am 2 weeks post op, HAD a sweet tooth that. Was apparently extracted-- ALL the protein shakes are sweet!! Post sleeve the sweet nauseates me--- where can I find savory protein ideas-- I'm liquid for e more weeks then puree. I'm liquifying meat loaf, baby foods, al are yucky with protein-- or possibly I'm just NOT hungry.

Never tried it but I hear that Unjury has a chicken soup flavored protein powder.

Try adding Unjury no flavor protein. You can add it to just about anything that's under 130degrees in temp. Doesn't disolve well if too hot. I have been adding it to just about everything to get the protein in.
