Post-Op Day 3....not Feeling So Hot

Hi Everyone! I sleeved it this past Friday and have been in constipation misery ever since. I kind of expected it because I am that way anyways, but this has been awful. Yesterday I had a bit of a scare. I was taking a drug called Savella for Fibromyalgia. Well, I went ahead and crushed it into my broth and took it. It immediately bumped up my seratonin levels and I was nearly wretching my guts out from it. That would have caused an immediate trip to the ER, so we called my Doc while I was sitting on the toilet wishing for a little gas. I must say...I LOVE my P.A. He told me my body may be craving some protein and I might be able to stop this by drinking my Isopure. I did what he suggested and the desire to vomit left. I did decide to go get the anti-nausea med he prescribed in case this happens again. No more Savella for me!

Anyways, i decided each day this week would start with a bottle of Isopure followed by a walk.Hopefully my first BM will come today!

I didn't have a BM for almost 10 days to 2 weeks out. My food intake was so minimal that there was nothing for me to put out. Also, the pain meds causes constipation. I did start taking Miralax for a couple of days. Glad your drinking your protein. And get lots of water in. It does get easier too. ;)
