Yay! Best wishes. How are you doing with the pre op diet?

I'm lucky, I will only have one day of a prep diet, two if you count the day of surgery.

So, so far so good!

What! That's crazy. And I would say lucky, but I think it will be harder to adapt to the diet you will have after surgery. I've lost about 10 pounds in the last week due to the pre op diet. Woo hoo! However I've cheated this weekend... Too many cookouts! Good luck! What time are you scheduled for??

I'm hoping it won't be too bad, I've been on a very strict low carb, low fat and high Protein diet for these past 6 months. I've also cut out all caffeine. To date I've lost 62 lbs.

For the past few weeks I've been replacing 1 to 2 meals with a Protein shakes in preparation for life after surgery as well.

62 lbs! Holy smokes! Good for you that's awesome. I've been through hell and back to get this far, I'm so excited, starting to get a little nervous. Do you know what time you're scheduled for?

I don't have a time yet. I have a preop meeting on Wednesday and will get a time as well as all my post-op diet requirements.

Sept 7th on my way to Plano now for surgery Friday! Sooo anxious!!

Do you know what time you're scheduled for?

I officially have a time now: Friday September 7th at 10:45 am.

Let the real countdown begin!

Tomorrow begins Clear liquids only. Not looking forward to it, but I know it's only one day and that one day gets me one day closer to my goal.

Good luck everyone!

I'm scheduled for 10:30 Friday am. Have to be there at 9am. Surgery is at Baylor Medical in Frisco with Dr Cribbins. Is it common practice for nasogastric tube with this procedure?

Have to be there at 6 am. Surgery is at 730 AM. Best wishes to all of you. Hopefully I will be able to get on here after and just say how I am doing. We will see. Best Wishes ALL!

My surgery aw moved to 1:30 and I still haven't gotten to go back!!!! Very tired and it's not helping the nerves!

I'm doing pretty well, I'm tender but can walk around. So far the gas is the worst part for me.

I'm a little tender, luckily no gas pain.

But I can't have a sip without getting seriously naughtious.

Do you burp a lot when you drink anything? I have a lot of gas that I can't seem to shake,
