What is your current diet restriction? I have no restrictions after tomorrow (4 weeks) but every surgeon is different.

Soft food whatever that mean I just chew very well but I get so mad cause I don't know what to eat that is good for me and I'm not big on veggies never was I was on vaca down the shore had a slice of or a few bites of pizza threw it up had a sandwich with lunch meat that too came up I'm just at my ends with this I call my NUT they never call me back I need options I try to research about healthy foods but then I go to my local store and find nothing

My doctor don't allow solids till after two months. It is clear liquids till after four weeks then puree for another few. my diet says if my stomache does not accpt the change to continue with liquids for another week? all doctors different but did say call if any vomiting occured.

Only had to wait month for solid foods. I'm almost 6 weeks out everything going well. Can eat anything as far as textures but only just like three bites at a time. That's my magic number. I take three bites and walk away for a few...and then I fell fine and don't accidentally over eat.

When you eat the sandwich are you eating the bread? Try just the lunch meat, some grilled fish, or eggs. Grits and oatmeal are on my soft list too and peanut butter...limited amount though.

My list of soft food only has toast listed for breads...and only 1 piece at a meal... I used to love that kind of bread too but u will have to work your way up to that... someone said they wrap lunch meat around the string cheese and eat it like that.
