Protein Requirements For Shakes

I know I'm supposed to have a Protein powder with at least 20g of protein per scoop and below 5g of sugar. What about carbs and calories? I just have the whey protein from the grocery store. It has 26g carbs, 2g sugar, 8g carbs, and 140 calories.

The calories and carbs seems high. I'm going to email the dietician but thought I'd get your thoughts too.

The one I use only has 5 carbs and 120 calories. I don't do them much anymore...I try to eat my protein...when I use the whey and add milk I get way to many calories and I would rather eat my calories. So I usually just eat more tuna, eggs, chicken and cheese.

I think you meant to say 26 g. protein, but at first I was like WHOA! :)
