Surgery Date - Sept. 10Th

Yippee...I'm so excited. they wanted to do it earlier -however, I have 2 conferences I'm in the middle of planning and would not be able to make it at Aug. 23rd. I meet with the surgeon this Thursday and they will give me all the info I need. I asked if there were anymore testing to be done...she looked at my file and said we were good.

However the group from True Results richardson were still thinking I was getting the Crap Band -which i corrected them, then they called back wondering why I wanted to have my surgery at Presby Plano....ummm because this is not the Crap Band and I need to be sure I can hold down fluids as well as have another leak test after the surgery and before I go home....this is major surgery, not some outpatient surgery. Plus, the Presby Plano is my COE for UHC - so way would I have something like this done as an outpatient....dont' know what they are smoking over there. I am sure it all has to do with $$$ they get more if the surgery is done at their facility - all they get from my insurance company is payment for the 6 months of visits I did and testing I did at their facility - the rest goes to the surgeon, and all hospital related fees....

this gives me at least 2 more paychecks to nail down additional supplies and get my house in tip top White Glove shape.....
